More than Steel

I started working in the steel mill when I was 19 years old, like my father and grandfather who started Rykr Steel. I earned my B.A. in Engineering at University of Pittsburg while studying metal alloy composite at Pittsburg Tech. I worked my way through all the processes in the greatest steel mills in America. I brought in two German furnace masters 12 years ago to develop and expand our process diversity. Over time I learned what works best for most equipment depending what technology is available to each process. I have not worked a processes that I have not mastered and have started to look into ways of improving the process.
